Mami + Teen Terrariums: Summer Workshop at Colados
Succulents & Coffee the perfect pair!
Our goal was to host two gatherings each month. For our Mami + Teen series we added a new youthful component to the MamaCita community. For this workshop we embarked on a delightful Mami + Teen adventure, creating stunning terrariums at our ‘go to’ coffee spot, Colados Coffee & Crepes in Goodyear, Arizona. With the expert guidance of The Succulent Social, we gathered with our teens to unleash our inner gardeners to assemble unique and vibrant miniature ecosystems.
Colados provided the perfect backdrop for our creative endeavor, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were treated to delicious coffee and crepes while we meticulously layered soil, arranged colorful succulents, and added decorative elements to our glass terrariums. Laughter and lively conversations filled the air as we shared ideas, offered assistance, and marveled at each other's creations.
This workshop was a wonderful opportunity for mothers and teens to bond, learn from each other, and create something beautiful together. The process of building our terrariums was both therapeutic and rewarding, fostering creativity, patience, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
We are incredibly grateful to The Succulent Social for their expertise and to Colados Coffee and Crepes for providing such a delightful setting for our Mami + Teen adventure.
